S001 Holland&Holland Royal 12 gauge This
Royal actually was purchased by me from Holland&Holland. I am very fond of this gun and am listing it just to be thorough
(I will sell it, though, but I will miss it). I purchased it second hand at their Manhattan store and it was actually part
of a matched trio. According to Holland&Holland, It has been re-barreled by Holland&Holland and is
properly marked with the Holland&Holland address on the barrels at the time of the work. It is really a fine Royal with
outstanding engraving. It is also one of the earliest examples of a single trigger Royal. A striking English
Best. $22,500.00

S002 Purdey 12 gauge Shotgun As far as I can tell, this
Purdey is all original with the exception of the requisite re-blacked barrels that virtually all English guns of any age will
have. I also suspect the chambers have been lengthened to 2 ¾ (and not subsequently re-proved) which is just
fine by me for use in the good ‘ol USA. This gun works perfectly in every respect and is really beautiful.
I have hunted with this gun many times with the proper loads (I use 2 ½ shells btw)The case that comes with it is of the same vintage and is a Purdey
case but for a different gun as this gun was part of a matched pair. A new Purdey will set you back 100k or so… I think
I have got this gun priced very competitively. Most guns in this price range have either a really bad refinish job or have
no case color at all. $27995.00
